OUR STATE-OF-THE-ART MACHINE PARK

SIPLA boasts a large and diverse machine park consisting of 30 injection molding machines for thermoplastic materials, with clamping forces ranging from 10 to 720 tons. Our equipment includes:

  • 4 vertical presses with a movable table;
  • 6 state-of-the-art two-component molding presses (with retraction, rotating table, index);
  • 20 horizontal presses.

All machines undergo strict scheduled maintenance plans to ensure efficiency, precision, and reliability, which are essential for the molding of high-quality technical items.

PRINTED MATERIALS

Over the years, we have developed a deep understanding of engineering polymers specific to each application sector. This experience, combined with the selection of state-of-the-art machinery and the expertise of our operators, allows us to offer a high level of technical and product knowledge.

We use a wide range of polymers, primarily belonging to the following families:

  • Fiberglass or glass bead reinforced polymers
  • Mineral-filled materials
  • Compounds with flame-retardant additives
  • Polymers stabilized against heat, hydrolysis, and UV exposure

Thanks to our constant collaboration with leading suppliers, we actively participate in the development of new formulations, ensuring solutions that meet the specific requirements and regulations of each application.

MANAGEMENT OF MOLDS AND EQUIPMENT

After each production cycle, all equipment undergoes thorough cleaning and maintenance. Additionally, the management of dedicated scheduled maintenance plans allows us to monitor and replace critical parts, minimizing the need for extraordinary interventions and reducing downtime of the molds.

We have an in-house workshop and collaborate with selected external partners, enabling us to efficiently handle any maintenance or modification needs for our equipment.

We take care of your molds with the utmost attention, ensuring regular revisions and inspections to keep them in optimal condition at all times.

ADVANCED PRODUCTION CONTROL

The management of planning and monitoring of production progress is entrusted to a dedicated software system (ALS Arburg). The complete interconnection between the planning office and the individual machines in the production area allows for real-time data acquisition on production progress and the prompt identification of any issues that may arise. This integrated system also facilitates the subsequent phases of quality control, post-processing, and packaging, ensuring timely deliveries.

To maintain consistent quality across different productions, molding parameters are backed up on a central server. During the setup phase, these parameters are retrieved by operators at the injection molding machines, minimizing the variables that could impact process repeatability.

Comprehensive production data is periodically analyzed to identify opportunities for improvement and plan targeted interventions, with the aim of ensuring maximum operational efficiency.
